Chaves Knives
Ramon Chaves
Knifemaker from Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. From an early age he was fascinated by the world of knives. He made his very first bowie knife in 1993, and continued his passion as a hobby. Everything changed in 2010, when he started professionally making of knives. Since then, a large number of knives have left his workshop and found new happy owners. As he says: “I love making knives because it is so gratifying to turn raw materials into something useful, and to know that people appreciate the effort that I put into their knife.”
“Skull” and Chaves shapes
Chaves Knives are designed for demanding tasks and are made of the best materials to guarantee durability, and in the case of blade steel, ensuring excellent cutting edge retention. Chaves Knives have a massive construction, clear lines and each piece contains a solid dose of steel and other materials. The distinguishing feature of Chaves Knives, giving them character and being an instant identifier of the products of this brand, is the characteristic “skull” formed in the knife carrying clip, also visible in the creator’s logo.
