TRC Knives is a Lithuanian brand founded by knifemaker Andrius Tricius in 2010. The factory located in Ukmerge is the workplace of a small but experienced TRC team. All this to maintain the highest standards of manual, precise craftsmanship. By design, production is limited, and the quality of workmanship is the highest priority of the brand and its founder. TRC Knives M-1SLG NCM knife is a project created in cooperation with operators of military special units. The M-1SLG designed in a military-tactical style is a cousin of the Mille Cuori knife from the regular offer of the Lithuanian manufacturer.
The M-1SLG knife is a response to the needs of special units operators, made available for civilian use. Contrary to common guesses, military users mostly use their knives in tactical operations as supporting tools, which, however, cannot fail during service. Therefore, the knives selected by the military must meet certain requirements in terms of strength (materials used) and usability (desired features). And so knives of this type are used as you can imagine, e.g. for cutting lines, breaking windows or removing other obstacles. Knives are used during field (survival) training and during everyday activities while waiting for a task (e.g. for minor repairs). TRC Knives South Pole #800 is very last piece of the Lithuanian manufacturer's knife, which cannot be found on a regular basis. Discovered in the deepest depths of our warehouse, the piece bears a unique number 800. In addition, the cladding of the handles are attached to the steel with steel screws, which is not present in the South Pole knife anymore. This is definitely a treat for the TRC Knives collector.
Basicly South Pole knife is inspired by the legendary winner of the South Pole, Roald Amundsen. It is a model belonging to the series "Tales of Man" (you can read about the series HERE), inextricably linked with various characters of bygone eras, who in their time shocked some and amazed others with their persistence in pursuing their goals and boldly realizing their dreams.
