KMFS is manufacturer from Chech Republic. One of the areas of KMFS activities is production of high-class sharpeners for professionals and demanding users. Initially connected with the hobby interests of the brand owner, the area of the company’s activity took a significant place in its production.

Production process takes place in the Czech Republic using the most modern technologies. Machining centers and lathes working with an accuracy of hundredths of a millimeter contribute to the creation of very precisely made components and final products. Quality is the most significant production priority.

Materials

Great quality is achieved not only through the use of state-of-the-art machinery and engineering knowledge. The selection of the best materials for production is of great importance for quality. In its work, KMFS uses top stainless steel, duralumin alloys, carbon fiber and high-quality plastics.

KMFS sharpeners are dedicated to every type of user. This means that they are intended for people who professionally sharpen, e.g. knifemakers, on a daily basis, but also for demanding end users. Sharpeners are perfect for sharpening the most demanding steels. It is no coincidence that at the annual IWA fair in Nuremberg, the KMFS stand can be found next to the Italian company Sandrin Knives, which produces tungsten carbide blades, on the one hand, and the Japanese brand Rockstead, on the other. Knives of both brands, as well as other well-known ones, can be found at the KMFS stand during the sharpening presentation.

KMFS sharpeners with diamond stones are dedicated to all types of steel, including those of the highest quality. Among the steels covered in sharpening by KMFS systems, the following should be mentioned: Elmax, M390, CPM S35VN, Vanadis 4 Extra, Vanadis 23, Vanax, K490, CPM 3V, MagnaCut and others.
