The QSP Knife Toukan I is an excellent choice for survival use, forest treks and other field activities of all kinds.
Steel – universal profile
It is a knife with a stable blade of a full flat grind and a blade in the drop point style. These features indicate the universality of its use and dedicate it to perform a variety of activities, including heavier work (eg. wood logging). The 9CR14MOV stainless steel blade retains very good cutting properties and is easy to sharpen. The blade has a jimping, which provides support for the thumb during the cuts requiring the use of more force.
The knife has a handle with an ergonomic, globalised shape in the form of a delicate wave. This design means that the handle fits the hand very well and the grip is strong and secure. The knife has been equipped with a hand guard, which prevents uncontrolled slipping of the hand onto the cutting edge. The handle is finished with an elongated hole for paracord, string, cord etc. solutions that facilitate removing the knife, hanging on the hand etc.
The handle itself is equipped with black G10 composite cladding with an anti-skidding and rough structure. The linings have been postponed with additional orange spacers for a more interesting visual effect. G10 has excellent performance properties – it is resistant to moisture, temperature changes, most solvents and acids, has high resistance to mechanical damage.
In the set with the knife you get a black Kydex holster, which can be attached to the belt using a special buckle with a lock against automatic opening. This method of attachment ensures a firm and stable grip on the belt when moving.
