The QSP Knife Piglet is a small handy folding knife in a strikingly structured design. Piglet – “piggy” is an endearing toddler who will happily adapt to every hand. After folding it will hide nicely in it, and after opening it will successfully cope with the assigned task.

It is a knife from the category of small folding knives, ideal for quick exit, which does not require great stuff preparation, but will be good support  “just in case”. The knife will fit easily into a small bag, wist bag, or pocket of shorts, without overloading this part of clothing.

The advantage of this knife is definitely the Swedish steel blade Sandvik 14C28N, but also an interesting color pattern of the handle obtained by a nice composition of black and olive G10 composite.

Description

The folding QSP Knife Piglet is an interesting tool for everyday use EDC (Every Day Carry).

Swedish steel

The blade has a flat grind and the blade was made in the drop point style. This combination ensures the versatility of the knife and the ability to use it for virtually any job. The material used for the production of the cutting part is high-quality Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel. Steel is characterised by high hardness and increased corrosion resistance, it stays sharp for a long time and has high resistance to mechanical damage.

Smooth opening

The knife is opened with a double-sided pin (for right- and left-handed people).  Smooth opening of the knife is ensured by copper washers enveloping on the line of the main axis of the knife (bearing at the point of connection of the blade with the handle).  The knife has stable and durable protection against accidental closing when in use (liner lock).

Durable handle

Handle grips are made of durable black and olive G10 composite fiber with a non-slip and rough form to ensure a stable grip. The material of the lining is resistant to moisture, temperature changes, most solvents and acids and is characterised by high resistance to mechanical damage. The linings have a rounded shape for a better fit to the hand, and in the place where we find the knife lock a delicate profiling is placed on the finger to reduce the risk of slipping of the hand on the blade and to avoid undesirable cuts.

Comfortable clip

The steel clip ensures stable carrying of the knife in the pocket, mounting a backpack, saddlebag etc., which helps to minimise the risk of losing the tool. Directly above the clip, there is a opening for a cord, paracord, etc., used depending on the user’s needs – to protect against loss, hanging around the neck, etc.

QSP knives are covered by a limited warranty. This warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to both the knife and its sheath. If the product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items are covered by this warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over an extended period of time and use.

  1. Don’t use the edge to cut hard object such as stone, steel tube….
  2. Don’t use the knife as a lever.
  3. Please follow the local and international laws in using QSP knife.
  4. Please wipe it by soft cloth after used, and store in dry place.
  5. Please sharpen the knife properly with correct techniques.

The QSP Knife Worker was designed by a German bushcrafter Arthura Brehm. Thanks to the cooperation of the contractor  and the user, a very interesting everyday knife was designed. The appearance of the knife is strongly associated with the traditional "pocket-knife" still used by our grandparents. Although modern materials were used in the construction and the styling is "smiling" towards contemporaniety, we feel a pleasantly associated breath of the past. Despite the fact that the knife was equipped with a blade made of modern Böhler N690 steel and the handle linings were made of glass fiber and blue G10 composite, the appearance and features were designed in a coherent and thoughtful way, combining tradition and modernity. The evidence supporting this is for example the slightly outlined wood rings visible on the covers, or the traditional way of opening and blocking the blade (indentation on the nail and back lock). The Worker is named as it is for a reason. This is a knife that is supposed to work, at home as well as in a forest, it has to fit into a jeans pocket, but is also to be a perfect complement to the equipment worn by bushcraft combatants.
