About Water-to-Go

Before Water-to-Go, Dave Shanks was on the leadership team for a textiles company that manufactured and distributed clothing brands across the world. Dave made frequent trips to India, Indonesia and China and was aghast to see ever growing mountains of plastic waste whenever he visited an industrial area. A large contributor to the problem was discarded single-use water bottles.

Realizing that advanced filtration technology could provide clean healthy water and also reduce the environmental damage of single use plastics, Dave established the Water-to-Go brand and business in 2010. Combining three different technologies, the Water-to-Go nanotechnology filter was perfect for hiking, camping, travel and emergency preparedness.  The water purification filter eliminates up to 99.9999% of water contaminants and have been proven by lab tests at four different labs on four continents.

The company has continued to grow year on year and in a very short time, has not only added distributors and retailers across the world and fostered partnerships with a large number of campaigning charities that share Water-to-Go’s mission.

Water-to-Go – ecology and economics

Only one replaceable filter in the Water-to-Go bottle allows you to filter up to 200 l of water, which means huge savings for the user’s budget. The ecological aspect of the system cannot be overestimated. Water-to-Go limits the purchase of bottled water. The filter bottle replaces 260 to 400 bottles depending on the capacity, significantly reducing the production of garbage.

Water-to-Go – three-stage filtration technology

Water-to-Go water filtration takes place in three stages and combines three different water purification technologies.

Mechanical filtration
A very small pore size which stops contaminants passing through.

Activated Carbon
Our filters use activated carbon but instead of using adhesives to glue the carbon particles together, (which vastly reduces the carbon’s efficiency) it is contained within the membrane, helping to reduce contaminants whilst eliminating bad tastes and odors. Try filtering water from your domestic filter and taste the difference.

Electrical
A positive charge reduces the pore size even further and attracts the contaminants like a magnet would, trapping them inside the filter.

About GO! bottle

Water-to-Go GO! 500 ml Red Purifier Bottle is made of food-safe material – BPA Free (free of chemical compounds from the BPA phenol group). The bottle has a light weight, see thrue, flexible construction. In the set we get a bottle with a cap (equipped with a drinking tip), a filter with a filter life marker (1 pc) and an instruction manual. In our offer we also have additional filters and caps in different colors to personalize the bottles and give them an individual character.
