QSP Knife Gavial QS126-C
€ 57.27 Gross, ( € 46.56 Net )
The QSP Knife Gavial is a knife that owes its name to an Indian crocodile living in the environment of great rivers. This reptile has a characteristic long, yet quite thin mouth, which is reflected in the knife in the form of a long as well as slender blade.
The association of the name with the aquatic animal immediately suggests one of its alleged purposes. The design features of the knife make if a desirable tool for an outdoor trip and are dedicated especially for fishing and fish lovers in general. The long blade will be effectively used to eviscerate, fillet fish and prepare your favourite meal.
In general, Gavial remains a universal knife for everyday use and for all trips and outings into nature.

Description
QSP Knife Gavial belongs to the category of large folding knives. Size, workmanship and shape direct its use for everyday use EDC (Every Day Carry) and field trips.
Functional blade
The blade has a flat grind and is made in a straight back styl. These two features, plus a relatively slender blade, facilitate gutting, filleting fish and piercing into the material. On the back of the blade there is a jimping slightly deflected towards the handle, which provides support for the thumb during making cuts that require greater precision and pressure. The blade is made of high-carbon D2 chrome-vanadium tool steel enables efficient cutting and its main characteristic is high abrasion resistance.
Smooth opening
The knife is opened due to the flipper protruding from the blade, which, when the blade is unfolded, serves as a hand guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the cutting edge and potential injuries. Slow opening occurs thanks to the dedicated opening on the blade. In both cases, the knife is unfolded very freely and smoothly thanks to the knife’s ceramic ball bearing. The knife has a self-adjusting stable opening, which protects against uncontrolled closing during use (liner lock).
Comfortable handle
Handle grips are made of durable black G10 composite fiber with a non-slip and rough form to ensure a stable grip. The material of the cover is resistant to moisture, temperature changes, most solvents and acids and is characterised by high resistance to mechanical damage.
Easy carrying
Stable carrying of the knife in the pocket is supported by a steel clip, which, when necessary, makes it easier to attach in a backpack, organizer, etc., which reduces the risk of losing the tool. Above the clip at the end of the handle we find a fairly wide mounting opening designed in the steel element of the knife frame protruding beyond the handle lining. It is dedicated to a fastening to a rope, string, paracord etc. or a larger carabiner, which is not difficult due to the quite large size of the opening. This simple solution makes it easy to take the knife out of your pocket, hang it around your neck, etc. Of course, this is also an additional safeguard against losing the knife when carrying or using it.
