**CHAVES KNIVES**. Ramon Chaves is a knifemaker from Albuquerque, New Mexico. From an early age, he was fascinated by the world of knives. He made his very first Bowie knife in 1993 and continued his passion as a hobby. Everything changed in 2010 when he started professionally making knives. Since then, numerous knives have left his workshop and found new, happy owners. As he says, “I love making knives because it is so gratifying to turn raw materials into something useful and to know that people appreciate the effort that I put into their knife.”
