The QSP Knife Puffin was inspired by the silhouette of a puffin bird. This winged, small-sized animal with a nice appearance became the patron of the QSP model from the premium line of knives of this brand, whose design evokes similar feelings.

Puffin is a project of medium sizes, but extremely interesting performance and great possibilities. The materials from which it was made deserve special attention because they translate directly into its cutting properties and strength. The blade made of  CPM S35VN premium steel and the titanium handle with carbon fiber insert are the parameters that those seeking for information “what, from what and why?” provide great “for” arguments when making a purchasing decision. The only question left to be answered is not “whether to buy”, but “when to buy”?

Description

The Puffin folding QSP Knife is a top quality tool for everyday use EDC (Every Day Carry).

Premium steel and universal blade

It is a knife with a stable blade of a full flat grind and a blade in the drop point style. Its design determines the optimal functionality and dedicates it to perform any type of work. The blade was made of stainless American premium steel CPM S35VN. It is a sinter (powder steel) used in the production of medium and high-class knives and is characterised by high impact strength (resistance to mechanical damage), has high abrasion resistance (remains sharp for a long time) and the blades made of it cut very efficiently.

Smooth opening and stable security lock

The knife is opened by a double-sided thumb stub. The knife is unfolded very freely and smoothly thanks to the ceramic ball bearing. The knife has a stable and durable protection against accidental closing – the frame lock.

Titanium handle

The handle is entirely made of lightweight and extremely durable titanium. It is a hard metal, resistant to impacts and mechanical damage, used in knives from the highest quality shelf. One side of the titanium cover features an insert made of very durable carbon fiber. It is an element introduced to obtain a better visual effect, and also used to obtain a more pleasant and stable grip (due to the anti-skidding properties). The knife was equipped with a titanium clip, enabling stable carrying in a pocket, fixing to the backpack, organizer etc. An  hole over the clip allows additional threading, paracord etc. Both the clip and the opening are elements that serve as protection against possible loss of the knife.

QSP knives are covered by a limited warranty. This warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to both the knife and its sheath. If the product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items are covered by this warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over an extended period of time and use.

  1. Don’t use the edge to cut hard object such as stone, steel tube….
  2. Don’t use the knife as a lever.
  3. Please follow the local and international laws in using QSP knife.
  4. Please wipe it by soft cloth after used, and store in dry place.
  5. Please sharpen the knife properly with correct techniques.

QSP Knife Copperhead (copper-headed) got its name by associating with the physiognomy of one of the species of snakes inhabiting North America. In the construction of the knife, after the opening it catches our attention the shape of the upper edge, which starting from the tip of the blade forms one line until the end of the handle. The impression is enhanced by the slightly bent ergonomic profile of the whole, which is associated with the flexing body of the copper-headed loafer. The knife has one more distinctive element. Namely, it is a characteristic orange coating around the fastening screw on the knife's main axis, which adds colour to the whole design. The QSP Knife Harpyie was inspired by the silhouette of a bird of prey from the hawk family. His physiognomy draws attention to the characteristic colours of its plumage, which is reflected in the knife handle. In its construction, attention is drawn to the proportion of colours, where one part of the cladding made of carbon fiber with a characteristic colour and reflects the upper part of the bird's torso, the rest of the composite G10 is in a different colour and reflects the rest of the bird's torso.
