The Excentric is the result of a design collaboration between two designers: Grzegorz Grabarski “Kombou” from Poland and TNT Knives, the pseudonym for Toni Nikolas Tietzel from Germany. The result of this collaborative design effort is a folding knife with an unusual appearance, characterized by the unique blade cuts and characteristic curves of the handle. The blade undoubtedly reflects TNT’s hand, and the handle features the characteristic lines of Kombou. The Excentric is designed to surprise, delight, and perform, because despite its futuristic design, it was created for that purpose.

The Excentric is made of premium materials (M390 steel blade and titanium handle), boasts collector’s items, and thanks to its fusion tanto-style blade, also offers highly functional features.

Grzegorz Grabarski, aka Kombou, is a distinguished knife designer from Poland. As one of the lead designers at Bestech Knives, he is responsible for a significant number of designs characterized by an unusual flair. Fancy blade shapes, handle millings, and unique inspirations and implementations. Among the designs, we find both highly utilitarian and distinctly collector-oriented pieces. As a designer, he stands out for his rich personality, openness, and boundless energy, which he also devotes to photography and graphic design. He always finds time for fans of his design work, for example, at the various knife fairs he attends annually (including IWA Nuremberg, Blade Show Atlanta, etc.).

TNT Knives

Toni Nikolas Tietzel (TNT) is a German custom knife maker. His work is characterized by diverse, often futuristic blade cuts, which he incorporates into both fixed-blade and folding knives. TNT’s fixed-blade knives range includes kitchen and outdoor blades. His folding knives are primarily designed for companies such as WE Knives and Bestech Knives, but he also produces his own folders in collaboration with the former.

Unconventional Blade

**PREMIUM STEEL BLADE**: The blade is made from M390, a high-end powder steel produced by the Austrian steelmaker Böhler. Known for its exceptional corrosion resistance, outstanding edge retention, and excellent wear resistance, M390 is a top choice for premium knives due to its well-balanced properties.

**BLADE PROFILE**:  The knife’s blade, crafted in the fusion tanto style, features several surfaces combined into a cohesive whole. Individual areas of the blade are more visible thanks to the distinct and shapely transitions between the cuts. The final effect is impressive.

Modern Construction

The blade opens smoothly on ceramic ball bearings, activated by a flipper tab that also acts as a finger guard when open. A sturdy frame lock ensures the blade stays secure during use.

Durable Titanium Handle

The handle is crafted from lightweight, durable titanium with grey finish.

A titanium clip in a tip-up position allows for secure and discreet pocket carry with the blade tip facing upwards.

Warranty

Bestech Knives are covered by a 24-month warranty. This warranty provides protection against material and manufacturing defects. It applies to both the knife and the sheath. If a warranted product is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it free of charge or replace it with a new one, at our discretion. The warranty covers only original, unaltered, and unmodified components.

The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper use, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, or natural discoloration of colors occurring during use.

Maintenance

1. Remember! Every of our knives are extremely sharp, so be careful when handling them!
2. Do not use your knife for something besides it’s intended purpose! Do not use the knife as a can opener, screwdriver, chisel, hammer, crowbar etc.
3. After using your knife with sea water, blood, fruits or other corrosive mediums, always rinse the knife with fresh water and dry it off.
4. Do not wash the knife with harder chemicals or in the dishwasher. This may damage or destroy the knife.
5. Before storing your knife, apply thin film of high-quality gun oil or special knife oil or wax to knives. We recommend that you always keep your knife and sheath clean and dry when not in use.
6. Always keep your knife sharp, so it can always take care of you.
