Brass Pen

Brass Pen* is a stylish everyday writing instrument made by craftsman. Made by hand and with the help of manually operated machines, it has a predominantly brass construction. The construction, by definition having a minimum number of elements, is very easy to use. The barrel, plunger, screw, spring and replaceable refill of the popular type** are all the elements of the pen. Changing the refill is very simple: just unscrew the screw, remove the plunger, replace the refill and repeat all the above steps in reverse order to reassemble the pen.

As mentioned, the construction is brass, with one exception. The screw located in the piston, which is a trigger located in the lock that ejects and hides the cartridge, is made of titanium. The finish of the screw is ‘natural titanium’ and its color contrasts elegantly with the brass, gold-brown hue of the body. A mechanism of this type is referred to as ‘bolt action’.

The main material of the pen – brass is a very characteristic material and for many users of products made of it, extremely charming. Over time, brass acquires a patina. This is a completely natural process and its effects are: color change (darkening), discoloration, traces, tarnish***. In the case of a pen, this phenomenon also occurs and is affected by the moisture emitted from the body and the PH of the user. The traces created during use are a kind of a special mark of the owner of the pen and additionally personalize it.

In the construction of the pen, ‘ribs’ are also noticeable, which is an element that improves the grip of the pen while writing, which is also a decorative element.
