Chaves Knives T.A.K. Liner Lock Folding Knife – Blue Label Line

Presented knife features a drop point blade made of high-quality Elmax steel, opened with flipper. It has a steel construction and black Micarta (Black Canvas Micarta) handle scales. Whole steel elements including Elmax blade are black PVD coated. The liner lock ensures safe use, while two included pocket clips—one classic and one skull-shaped, a signature of Chaves Knives—provide secure carry.

T.A.K.

The smallest among Ramon Chaves’ folding knives. A compact folder for full-size tasks. With a blade available in drop point or tanto style, it is highly versatile in use. Recommended for those who select their everyday carry gear based on weight criteria. Weighing less than 100 g, the T.A.K. does not weigh down your pocket and remains comfortable even in lightweight summer shorts. The absence of thumb studs in favor of a flipper makes it much easier to open, even for users with larger hands.

BLUE LABEL LINE

Chaves Knives’ production line of folders at a more accessible price point. Compared to the titanium frame lock models, the Blue Label Line features a liner lock and uses cost-effective yet durable materials. The Elmax steel blade ensures excellent cutting performance, making these knives reliable tools for daily use.

ELMAX – PREMIUM EUROPEAN STEEL

This knife is built with top-tier Elmax steel, widely recognized in the knife industry. Produced by European UDDEHOLM group mills, Elmax blades offer long-lasting sharpness, corrosion resistance, and exceptional durability, with high wear and mechanical damage resistance.

PRACTICAL BLADE

The drop point blade features a high flat grind, making it highly versatile for various tasks. The spine swedge tapers toward the tip for improved piercing capability. Jimping on the spine provides thumb support for controlled cutting.

FLIPPER OPENING

The knife opens smoothly withflipper, operating effortlessly thanks to ball bearings in the pivot.

TWO CLIPS INCLUDED

Maintenance

1. Remember! Every of our knives are extremely sharp, so be careful when handling them!
2. Do not use your knife for something besides it’s intended purpose! Do not use the knife as a can opener, screwdriver, chisel, hammer, crowbar etc.
3. After using your knife with sea water, blood, fruits or other corrosive mediums, always rinse the knife with fresh water and dry it off.
4. Do not wash the knife with harder chemicals or in the dishwasher. This may damage or destroy the knife.
5. Before storing your knife, apply thin film of high-quality gun oil or special knife oil or wax to knives. We recommend that you always keep your knife and sheath clean and dry when not in use.
6. Always keep your knife sharp, so it can always take care of you.
