The Kubey Eris 179D folding knife is an everyday knife with a slender and discreet shape. Eris is an evolution of the Pretender model, from which the basic shape was taken, but the materials used in it were taken from the shelf above. In addition, the construction uses more complicated details (pivot, pocket clip, screws).
Eris is a knife for people who prefer less massive designs. It is a knife with a fairly narrow silhouette and low weight, which will fit perfectly into the trouser pocket without causing any discomfort to the user. It will also find its place in the organizer or waist bag without overloading them. Eris is similar in size and weight to a pocket knife, also with dimensions of the blade is a real candidate for everyday use.
The presented Kubey Eris KU179D folding knife has a powerful drop point blade made of Japanese AUS-10 stainless steel. The handle of the knife is made of synthetic fiber with a rough structure. The fiber has a rough structure and is styled like worn, chafed material (“aging” effect). The knife is opened due to the protruding flipper and the blade is blocked by a liner lock.
