About MK Knives & Tools
MK Knives & Tools – Marcin Kampka. Knife designer and knifemaker. His knives are characterized by outstanding workmanship and exceptional attention to detail. Knives with a highly recognizable line, style and colors are great for a variety of tasks: everyday, survival, bushcraft, tactical and general outdoor. In addition to the usable sphere, the visual setting and the variety of workmanship, especially appreciated by collectors, are of great importance in MK projects. Particular attention should be paid to the treatment of each project as a unique whole. Each knife presents its individual features, but holsters also have their distinguishing features. Holsters are finished as carefully as the knives themselves, which strongly distinguishes them in the knife world. The knifemaker approaches his work with patience and full commitment. Especially the first of these features develops while practicing the fishing hobby, because as we know, nothing refreshes the mind as much as a distraction, even a temporary one that will allow you to relax in a different than everyday environment.

About presented version of Venom knife
Venom design
Venom folding knife (MK-03F) in the currently presented shape is the result of the development of MK Knives & Tools folding knives family. After time for creation the very first folder Ingeni (MK-01F), the time has come to combine the concept of a karambit fixed blade with the construction of a folding knife. The result, Venom knife, known under the technical name MK-03F combines the best features of the Ingeni folding knife (MK-01F), and the attributes of a fixed blade knife: Claw (MK-05). Venom is as refined as previous projects, it is the consistency of concept and execution. Design, as usual, planned not only for usability, but also for appearance. Aesthetics, distribution of proportions between the individual components of the knife and its final image are an important element of the philosophy of work at MK Knives & Tools and this can also be seen in the Venom project. Of course, in the design and appearance there is also a noticeable consistency with other designs of the knifemaker and moving within the boundaries of his style, which makes the individual knives quite easily identifiable. There are roundings, chamfers, subtle angularity in the right places, thoughtful composition of colors and delicate decorative patterns.
Before leaving the workshop, each Venom knife is checked and tested for smooth operation. The basic torsion of the structure is selected individually for each copy. The knife works very smoothly and freely from the very first moment. It is recommended not to adjust the twist immediately after use, because after first stage of using the knife will fit even better.
Premium steel and utility blade
Venom knife has blade with an innovative hollow grind, visible as characteristic grooves on the blade, reducing the effect of adherence of the cut material to it (the grind is very subtle). The blade profile is a warncilffe, with a visible swedge. This design makes it easier to cut bonds, knots, cut the material at the ruler, not to mention simpler activities such as opening packages, cutting cardboard boxes, etc. There is a jimping on the spine, which makes it easier to make precise cuts that require pressure with the thumb. Vanadis 4 Extra premium steel blade gives excellent utility effects: long-lasting sharpness and reliable durability (high resistance to abrasion, high resistance to mechanical damage). The steel on the blade has been coated with a black PVD coating, protecting it against corrosion, strengthening its strength and anti-reflective effect.
Smooth opening and stable safety lock
The knife is opened thanks to the flipper protruding from the blade, which, after unfolding the blade, serves as a finger guard to prevent the hand from slipping over the cutting edge and potential injuries. The knife is unfolded very freely and smoothly thanks to its ceramic ball bearing. The pivot on which the blade moves, connecting it with the covers, is made of Elmax steel in PVD coating. The knife has a stable and durable protection against accidental closing, called frame lock with a steel insert. This lock is known for its reliability. The frame lock is equipped with a ceramic detent ball that guides the blade when opening and closing.
Titanium handle, pocket clip and backspacer
The handle is entirely made of light and extremely durable titanium (Desert Fox anodized). It is a hard metal, resistant to impact and mechanical damage, used in knives of the highest quality. It is resistant to corrosion. The scales have been screwed with stainless steel screws in a color consistent with the entire design (PVD coating). The knife is equipped with a brown titanium pocket clip, allowing for stable carrying in a pocket, mounting in a backpack, organizer, kidney, etc. The knife has brown titanium backspacer color matched to the clip that seamlessly transitions into a karambit-style finger hole.
Storage box + steel custom patch
Ingeni folding knife comes with a waterproof, lockable plastic box with MK logo. Interestingly, the MK logo itself is also a custom patch, which can be removed and attached to a backpack, kidney bag or jacket. Buckle locking box with water and dust-protective gasket, filled with a cushioning sponge is used to store or carry the knife depending on the needs and preferences of the user.
