Description

South Pole Kapuga Edition is a unique implementation with a handle made of durable G10 composite formed with delicate roughness for a stable grip, available only in the Kapuga.pl distribution. The design differs from the standard version with a micarta handle, the color of the facings in deep black, subtly contrasting with the satin finish of the steel. The set containing a kydex holster or an optional leather sheath (available HERE) is a great composition also for those for whom black is their favorite color. The weight of the knife, due to the G10 cladding, is slightly higher, which makes it even better to “feel” it in your hand.

All made in the spirit of Roald Amundsen, known for his practical approach to life and the organization of his exploratory expeditions. In summary, the South Pole is the perfect utility knife designed to deal with every possible natural challenge.

The South Pole model is also available with micarta handle – in black (the basic version of the South Pole available HERE) or brown (South Pole Natural is available HERE). ATTENTION! The presented version with G10 screws securing the cladding to the handle is discontinued. It was replaced by the new South Pole Kapuga Edition with steel through-tubes attaching the covers to the handle.

TRC Knives are covered by a lifetime warranty. This warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to both the knife and its sheath. If the product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items are covered by this warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over an extended period of time and use. Damage not covered under the warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate. In such cases, a fee will be also charged for shipping. We also offer a life-time free sharpening service. Whenever you feel your knife starts lacking that excellent sharpness, send the knife over to us. You will only be charged for shipping costs.

Every knife that leaves our workshop is extremely sharp and carefully examined before it is sheathed and packaged into the box. We keep strict quality control throughout all manufacturing process to make sure the knife is in flawless condition, so that you can enjoy the extreme sharpness and overall quality of your newly purchased TRC knife.

The modern knife steels that we use are top-quality materials. However, all metals corrode over time. It is important, therefore, to take certain precautions. After using your knife with sea water, blood, fruits or other corrosive mediums, you should always rinse the knife with fresh water and dry it off. Before storing your knife, apply a thin film of high-quality gun oil. The knife should never be washed with harder chemicals, for this may damage the finish of the blade. We recommend that you always keep your knife and sheath clean and dry when not in use. Always keep your knife sharp, so it can always take care of you.

    So this South ole Kapuga edition was my latest purchase from TRC & Kapuga.
    All I can say is “masterpiece” like the other models from the manufacturer.
    First I hesitated a little on G10 handle, but man – this is THE G10 handle! It feels so nice in my hand, just like any Micarta from TRC, only a little rubbery – and more important – darker! Which I needed for the South Pole, contrast is superb on the knife.

    Its the same excellent quality TRC Knives South Pole knife but with G-10 handles, which is ideal if you plan to use around moisture or live in a more humid climate. Its slightly heavier than the standard South Pole, but not that noticeable as TRC knives are pretty robust and sturdy in the hand. Excellent knife and shipped very quickly from Kapuga (3 days from order to delivery in the U.S.A.

TRC Knives M-1XST

The M-1XST knife is a project of Andrius Tricius invented in cooperation with operators of military special forces. The M-1XST designed in a military-tactical style, is a cousin of the Mille Cuori knife from regular TRC Knives line. Currently, the knife “serve” in one of the special forces unit in one of Central European countries. The M-1XST knife is a response to demand of operators of special forces but also available for civil users. TRC Knives Apocalypse Natural knife made from Lithuania is a project inspired by island located in the Bay of Bangalore: Northern Sentinel and its indigenous inhabitants. Apocalypse Natural belongs to the series "Tales of Man" inspired by the extraordinary characters of past eras. Neckmuk is a QSP Knife project designed by Arthur Brehm. This is a typical neck type knife, which is also emphasized in its name. The name Neckmuk also refers directly to the shape of the blade modeled in the knives used by one of the more famous nineteenth-century American promoters of life in the bosom of nature George „Nessmuk” Sears’s. Due to the fact that Nessmuk spent a large part of his life in the field, he thought that the camping knife should not be too large and have an exaggerated thickness and its shape should help in cutting meat and preparing food. The Neckmuk project definitely falls within this canon.
