The Buwaya is a historic and unique design for a Polish designer. Sketched by Kombou and originally crafted as a custom knife by BrrKnives (Rafał Brzeski), it entered full-scale production only through a collaboration with Bestech Knives. Resembling a crocodile (Filipino: Buwaya), it features intricate carvings on both the handle and the blade. For many, it’s a unique addition to their portfolio collection, and for good reason. The folder’s components are made of premium materials: the blade is made of Austrian M390 steel and the handle is made of titanium.

Grzegorz Grabarski, aka Kombou, is a distinguished knife designer from Poland. Unconventional Blade

**PREMIUM STEEL BLADE**: The blade is made from M390, a high-end powder steel produced by the Austrian steelmaker Böhler. Known for its exceptional corrosion resistance, outstanding edge retention, and excellent wear resistance, M390 is a top choice for premium knives due to its well-balanced properties.

**BLADE PROFILE**: The knife blade is a universal drop point profile with intricate millings, which are a unique decoration that distinguishes the design from many others.

Modern Construction

The blade opens smoothly on ceramic ball bearings, activated by a flipper tab that also acts as a finger guard when open. A sturdy frame lock ensures the blade stays secure during use.

Durable Titanium Handle

The handle is crafted from lightweight, durable titanium with bead blasted finish.

A titanium clip in a tip-up position allows for secure and discreet pocket carry with the blade tip facing upwards.

Warranty

Bestech Knives are covered by a 24-month warranty. This warranty provides protection against material and manufacturing defects. It applies to both the knife and the sheath. If a warranted product is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it free of charge or replace it with a new one, at our discretion. The warranty covers only original, unaltered, and unmodified components.

The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper use, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, or natural discoloration of colors occurring during use.

Maintenance

1. Remember! Every of our knives are extremely sharp, so be careful when handling them!
2. Do not use your knife for something besides it’s intended purpose! Do not use the knife as a can opener, screwdriver, chisel, hammer, crowbar etc.
3. After using your knife with sea water, blood, fruits or other corrosive mediums, always rinse the knife with fresh water and dry it off.
4. Do not wash the knife with harder chemicals or in the dishwasher. This may damage or destroy the knife.
5. Before storing your knife, apply thin film of high-quality gun oil or special knife oil or wax to knives. We recommend that you always keep your knife and sheath clean and dry when not in use.
6. Always keep your knife sharp, so it can always take care of you.
