BPS Knives Finn Lite is a compact blade for everyday use (EDC), camping, mountaineering and the broadly understood outdoor. Inspired by the Scandinavian ‘puukko’, it has a useful 80 mm blade great for food preparation, wood whittling or occasional wood carving during hikes. The 1066 carbon steel blade provides great sharpness and durability, the ergonomic ash wood handle, the desired comfort of the grip and the leather sheath, easy to carry in a pocket.

Steel and Blade Profile

**SOLID CONSTRUCTION**: Finn Lite is a full-tang knife, made of a single piece of steel running the entire length and width of the handle, to which wooden covers are attached. Full tang is the most solid construction among fixed-blade knives.

**DURABLE STEEL**: The blade is made of 1066 carbon steel, has a drop point profile and Scandinavian grind with a cutting edge brought to zero, very well suited for bushcraft or camping work. Because the knife blade is made of carbon steel, it should be washed and wiped dry well after use and preferably protected with wax or knife protective oil to prevent corrosion.

Ash Wood Handle

**NATURAL HANDLE**: The handle linings are made of ash wood. This wood is durable and resistant to weather conditions. The covers are screwed to the structure and can be easily removed or replaced. They are also protected with Danish oil, which enhances protection against weather conditions and brings out the natural beauty of the material. Oiling the wood from time to time prevents the material from drying out and extends its life, which is why it is recommended by the manufacturer.

**HOLE FOR LANYARD**: At the end of the knife handle there is a hole for attaching an additional cord, which can be used as protection against dropping the knife during work, or an additional grip to make it easier to remove the knife from the holster.

Natural Leather Sheath

**SHEATH**: The knife comes with a hand-formed, solid sheath made of genuine leather. The leather sheath and the knife with a wooden handle are a classic and beautiful combination. The sheath is stitched with nylon thread, which adds solidity and gives it an original look.

**PERSONALIZATION OF CARRYING STYLE**: The sheath adapted to the compact knife does not have a handle – a belt loop.

1. It is intended to be carried with the knife inside a pocket, bag or backpack.
2. However, in its construction, the sheath has 3 holes – pass-through pins, which can be used to personalize the way of carrying. You can braid a leather or paracord loop on them and thus adapt it to carry on a belt.
3. You can also mount an UltiClip clip on it: Slim 2.2 or Slim 3.3. The thickness of the sheath at this point is approx. 9 mm and the screws from the original UltiClip sets are long enough with sleeves (nuts) to mount the clips stably.

Maintenance

1. Remember! Every of our knives are extremely sharp, so be careful when handling them!
2. Do not use your knife for something besides it’s intended purpose! Do not use the knife as a can opener, screwdriver, chisel, hammer, crowbar etc.
3. After using your knife with sea water, blood, fruits or other corrosive mediums, always rinse the knife with fresh water and dry it off.
4. Do not wash the knife with harder chemicals or in the dishwasher. This may damage or destroy the knife.
5. Before storing your knife, apply thin film of high-quality gun oil or special knife oil or wax to knives. We recommend that you always keep your knife and sheath clean and dry when not in use.
6. Always keep your knife sharp, so it can always take care of you.
