FKMD FOX Rescue Emergency Tool AISI 420 Black is a project of an Italian manufacturer made for the military and made available to civilian users.

FKMD Rescue Knife is a rescue tool designed to provide a very simple and quick response in the event of an immediate need to cut ropes, parachute line, safety belts, fishing nets and so on. The ssheath has a clip on the back that allows the tool to be placed in various positions in a combat jacket, as well as in diving equipment, backpack loops, etc. Thanks to the opening at the front, after attaching the rope, it can be used as a neck knife. The knife has a NATO identification number: NSN 5110-15-000-0215.

The knife has a serrated blade made of 420J2B stainless steel and a handle and a holster made of FRN NYLON® (reinforced fiberglass – black) in black.

The founder is Oreste Frati, whose first and last name gave the name of the company, and his initials can be found in the word FOX. The history of the company is the sum of the experiences of the founder and his team, a huge number of completed production projects, introduced and award-winning innovations, an evolution that has led to a thriving and well-known knife company in the world.

FKMD – Fox Knives Military Division

The FKMD brand was created as a result of cooperation of the FOX Group with the military industry, created to distinguish production for the military from production for the civilian market. Many of the products in FKMD are certified by the NATO Stock Number (NSN), a 13-digit numeric code that identifies products in NATO countries.

  1. Remember! Every of our knives are extremely sharp, so be careful when handling them!
  2. Do not use your knife for something besides it’s intended purpose! Do not use the knife as a can opener, screwdriver, chisel, hammer, crowbar etc.
  3. After using your knife with sea water, blood, fruits or other corrosive mediums, always rinse the knife with fresh water and dry it off.
  4. Do not wash the knife with harder chemicals or in the dishwasher. This may damage or destroy the knife.
  5. Before storing your knife, apply thin film of high-quality gun oil or special knife oil or wax to knives. We recommend that you always keep your knife and sheath clean and dry when not in use.
  6. Always keep your knife sharp, so it can always take care of you.

    The M-1XST knife is a project of Andrius Tricius invented in cooperation with operators of military special forces. The M-1XST designed in a military-tactical style, is a cousin of the Mille Cuori knife from regular TRC Knives line.
