This Is Freedom knife in the basic starter kit is equipped with a dangler leather shetah that matches the original knife design.

We offer the option of buying an optional black kydex holster for those who prefer more modern solutions.

Holster will be an ideal solution for people who “do not save” their knives in the field and it happens to them at home to thoroughly clean their equipment. As we can guess with the material, we can avoid a greater risk of sniffing, emitting bad smells, etc., than in the case of a leather vagina, which is a natural material.

The original kydex holster will also complement the This Is Freedom set for a collector who wants to have a knife with all the original equipment available.

Description

Optional hand-formed kydex holster for the TRC Knives This Is Freedom knife (each model).

Kydex itself is a material characterized by high resistance to impacts, scratches, low moisture absorption, resistance to various weather conditions and many chemicals. Holsters made of it are comfortable and long-lasting.

We attach the holster to the belt with a grommet made of durable nylon. The handle made of this material gives flexibility, which, e.g. when squatting or bending down, is arranged in a way that limits the sometimes onerous squeezing or cutting of the body. To facilitate the removal of the knife, which holds the tightly-fitting material very well, a thumb support is planned, thanks to which the knife can be removed in a controlled and safe way. The holster is equipped with through pins, to which you can attach e.g. a tinder holder (not included in the set) or use them to attach it to a backpack, harness element or Molle solution.

The M-1SLG designed in a military-tactical style is a cousin of the Mille Cuori knife from the regular offer of the Lithuanian manufacturer. The M-1SLG knife is a response to the needs of special units operators, made available for civilian use. Contrary to common guesses, military users mostly use their knives in tactical operations as supporting tools, which, however, cannot fail during service. Therefore, the knives selected by the military must meet certain requirements in terms of strength (materials used) and usability (desired features). And so knives of this type are used as you can imagine, e.g. for cutting lines, breaking windows or removing other obstacles. Knives are used during field (survival) training and during everyday activities while waiting for a task (e.g. for minor repairs). The M-1SLG knife is a great proposition for fans of militaria, survival enthusiasts and enthusiasts of field trips.
