About MK Knives & Tools
MK Knives & Tools – Marcin Kampka. Knife designer and knifemaker. His knives are characterized by outstanding workmanship and exceptional attention to detail. Knives with a highly recognizable line, style and colors are great for a variety of tasks: everyday, survival, bushcraft, tactical and general outdoor. In addition to the usable sphere, the visual setting and the variety of workmanship, especially appreciated by collectors, are of great importance in MK projects. Particular attention should be paid to the treatment of each project as a unique whole. Each knife presents its individual features, but holsters also have their distinguishing features. Holsters are finished as carefully as the knives themselves, which strongly distinguishes them in the knife world. The knifemaker approaches his work with patience and full commitment. Especially the first of these features develops while practicing the fishing hobby, because as we know, nothing refreshes the mind as much as a distraction, even a temporary one that will allow you to relax in a different than everyday environment.

About the presented version of the Spike knife
Premium steel as the core of the knife construction
Presented Spike knife is made of one piece of excellent Elmax steel. It is a full-tang knife. Elmax has excellent utility features: long-lasting sharpness, stainless steel and reliable durability (high resistance to abrasion, high resistance to mechanical damage).
Grind and blade shape for effective cutting
An interesting fact about the knife’s performance is the innovative hollow grind. It is visible at first glance in the form of characteristic grooves on both the correct blade and the false blade. The concavity of the grind is very subtle and in addition to the visual effect, it is designed to support the cutting process (it reduces the effect of the material sticking to the blade and facilitates splitting of the material). Complementing the innovative cut is the wharncliffe style blade, which allows you to take full advantage of the tip of the cutting edge, which is especially important when making precise cuts, stabbing, etc.
The spine of the blade has a jimpig, which makes it easier to press the blade of the knife to the material being cut. This element enables precise cuts, makes it easier to guide the cutting edge along the material and helps with cuts that require pressure.
Skeletonized handle
The ergonomic, skeletonized handle lies firmly in the hand. All edges located on it have been precisely ground to make the grip fully comfortable. The holes in the frame body, apart from the aesthetic impression, are useful for attaching an additional section of paracord. It is a solution that improves grip, makes it easier to remove the knife from the holster, and gives the user the feeling of holding a larger tool in the hand than it really is.
Kydex sheath and various mounting options
The knife has a sheath made of hand-formed Kydex material, which is characterized by high impact and scratch resistance, characterized by low moisture absorption, resistant to various weather conditions and many chemicals.
The holster can be attach to the belt thanks to Kydex buckle, which is also adapted for mounting to Molle solutions. The initial mounting of the buckle allows the entire belt to be mounted vertically. However, it is possible to change the position of the buckle in a way that allows for more discreet horizontal mounting (along the belt, on the back or in the front on the hip belt). Then just unscrew the buckle and change its position. Strongly stable fastening (if we prefer it) can be obtained additionally by tying the holster through the through holes in it.
A neck knife for quick use
The Spike knife is a lightweight design knife, also ideal for carrying around the neck (as a neck knife after secure before losing it). To attach it to the neck, we can use any solution, such as paracord, string, chain, etc., which we attach to a holster adapted to this.
