Petrified Fish Karatool PF-T01 W Pry Bar Tool by Tiguass is useful everyday carry (EDC) tool.

Karatool, or Titanium Karambit Tool, is a design of a Japanese designer known as Tiguass (Tiguass Ōnishiken / Tiguass Designs). Karatool is a useful EDC (Every Day Carry) gadget, made of titanium, with a shape reminiscent of karambit blades. Titanium body containing wheel fot finger is also characteristic of this type of knives, and all this allows for efficient use of the tool, obtaining the best grip during use. Karatool, in addition to pry bar function, also includes a bottle opener and a silhouette shaped carrying clip for easier carrying of the tool.

Titanium Body

Karatool is made of titanium 6AL4V (Titanium Grade 5). It is a light and extremely strong titanium alloy developed in the past for the space and aerospace industries. One of its main features, apart from durability, is excellent anti-corrosion properties. The titanium in the presented version has been covered with a black PVD titanium coating. The coating has anti-reflective properties and improves the already excellent anti-corrosion properties of this material.

Karambit Style For Easy Use

Karatool has a skeletonized body. Pry bar, referring to karambit-type blades, has a finger ring and a curved silhouette that easily fits the hand and fits firmly in it. The finger ring is a gripping element and a possible holder for a pendant. The ribbing in the form of 4 holes in the body that stands out in its silhouette can be used to braid e.g. paracord to improve grip. Braided paracord, string, etc. elements will be an optional spare line in situations when it is needed (paracord is not included in the set).

Carrying Clip

A carrying clip is molded into the titanium body. The clip allows you to attach the tool in a trouser pocket, in a shirt pocket, etc. and prevents it from being lost.

Pry Bar Function

The main purpose, contained in the name of the tool, is the function of the pry bar. The tool is equipped with a 16 mm (0.63″) pry bar blade for lifting e.g. the lid of a can, opening a can with a drink and other activities where it is necessary to pull one element away from another. A pry bar, or in fact a mini crowbar, is a useful tool for everyday use, which is a support for an everyday blade, because as you know (but some forget about it;)), both the blade of a folder or a knife with a fixed blade are not recommended for use as a crowbar. If it does, it is equivalent to misuse.

In order to increase the range of functionalities of the Karatool, it is also equipped with a bottle opener.

Warranty

Petrified Fish products are covered by a 12 month warranty. This warranty provides protection against material and manufacturing defects. If a product under warranty becomes damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it free of charge or replace it with a new one, at our discretion. The warranty covers only original, unaltered and unmodified components. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper care, normal wear and tear or natural discoloration that occurs during use.

1. The ‘Karatool’ tool is designed for manual operation.
2. Always use the correct function of the tool for its intended task.
3. The tool is intended for everyday tasks with moderate loads. Overloading it (forcing its use) may cause damage. Naturally, a pry bar – mini pry bar – cannot perform tasks designed for a full-sized steel crowbar, such as supporting a wheel replacement process.
