The c00peration between the designer and the contractor resulted in the creation of a  knife with a rather slim silhouette with a wharncliffe blade with a rather narrow engraving. It is a construction that will meet the demands of everyday tasks, help in precise cutting, and also cope with large overloads during stinging, puncturing, etc. , co opening cardboard boxes will be really easy. In addition, even with vigorous and less careful work we can feel safer thanks to the strong frame lock. Nokomis will also do well in the forest, where its straight cutting edge is perfect for for example whittling.

Description

The folding QSP Knife Pelican is a large universal tool for everyday use EDC (Every Day Carry).

Premium steel – durable blade

The blade has a flat grind and was derived in the wharncliffe style. This design is ideal for cutting on flat surfaces due to the easy possibility of pressing a straight cutting edge to the material being cut. In addition, this type of blade enables easy handling and control of the engraving, which is very useful during cuts requiring precision. The back has jimping to facilitate applying pressure with your thumb while making cuts. The blade was made of stainless American premium steel CPM S35VN. It is a sinter (powder steel) used in the production of medium and high-class knives and is characterised by high impact strength (resistance to mechanical damage), has high abrasion resistance (remains sharp for a long time) and the blades made of it cut very efficiently.

Smooth opening

The knife is opened due to the  flipper protruding from the blade, which, when the blade is unfolded, serves as a hand guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the cutting edge and potential injuries. The knife is unfolded very freely and smoothly thanks to the steel ball bearing. The knife has a self-adjusting stable opening, which protects against uncontrolled closing during use (liner lock).

Durable handle

The handle itself is equipped with linings made of grey linen micarta with an skidproof and rough structure. Micarta is a popular material on the handle, which after styling gives the effects of naturalness. In addition, it has very good performance – it is resistant to moisture, temperature changes, most solvents and acids and therefore has a high resistance to mechanical damage.

Stable carrying

The knife was equipped with a titanium clip, enabling stable carrying in a pocket, fixing to the backpack, organizer etc. An  hole over the clip allows additional threading, paracord etc. Both the clip and the opening are elements that serve as protection against possible loss of the knife.

Warranty

 

QSP knives are covered by a limited warranty. This warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to both the knife and its sheath. If the product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items are covered by this warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over an extended period of time and use.

Maintenance

  1. Don’t use the edge to cut hard object such as stone, steel tube….
  2. Don’t use the knife as a lever.
  3. Please follow the local and international laws in using QSP knife.
  4. Please wipe it by soft cloth after used, and store in dry place.
  5. Please sharpen the knife properly with correct techniques.

His physiognomy draws attention to the characteristic colours of its plumage, which is reflected in the knife handle.
