TRC Knives South Pole Knife
TRC Knives South Pole knife is a project of Andrius Tricius from TRC Knives from Lithuania, inspired by the legendary winner of the South Pole, Roald Amundsen. It is a model belonging to the series "Tales of Man" (you can read about the series HERE), inextricably linked with various characters of bygone eras, who in their time shocked some and amazed others with their persistence in pursuing their goals and boldly realizing their dreams.
South Pole was planned down to the last detail, just as Amundsen had planned its expedition. Wading on skis, dog sleds, and facing death many times, Roald Amundsen and his men were the first to conquer the South Pole. People hailed him a hero. Amundsen did not think about himself that way, he was a practical man. He explained his success in a simple way - "I have foreseen every difficulty and I have taken every precaution for meeting and avoiding it". Victory awaits whoever has everything planned.
It was in this spirit that South Pole knife was born - the perfect utility knife designed to deal with any natural challenge.

TRC Knives Apocalypse Knife. There’s a place in the Bay of Bengal by the name of North Sentinel Island. It’s a place you shouldn’t go to. The Sentinelese reject any kind of contact with the rest of the world, and have lived this way for thousands of years. Marco Polo described them as “a most brutish and savage race, having heads, eyes and teeth like those of dogs.” To this day, no outsider has had success trying to enter the mysterious island. Whoever dears to approach North Sentinel, is attacked by the home-proud islanders with apocalyptic rage. And who could blame them? The way they feel when approached by the Other, is pretty much the same way we would feel if approached by aliens. What would you do in this scenario?
We created the Apocalypse knife for do-or-die survival situations. To improve your chances of survival during the apocalypse, we handcrafted this knife from a thick slab of premium quality steel. Apocalypse sports a blade that is 172 mm long. What’s more, it features textured handle scales that, together with thumb jimping, provide the apocalyptic warrior with a comfortable and reassuring grip. With a total length of 300 mm, this beastly-looking survival knife will make your enemies think twice. Just looking at it, you know it means business. Apocalypse comes with a handmade Kydex ® sheath. The South Pole knife in the original starter set is equipped with a holster made of durable Kydex material. For people who appreciate more natural solutions, and the plastic holster does not match their personalized style, we give the opportunity to buy the original TRC Knives leather sheath.
The scabbard is also a response to the needs of users who appreciate the complexity of solutions and like to have various options for adapting their equipment to the conditions in which they will use it. The original leather scabbard will also complement the South Pole set for a collector who wants to have a knife with all the original accessories in his possession.
The presented scabbard is made in brown colors. We remind you that leather is a natural material with a variety of textures (structure, roughness, natural protrusions, hollows, etc.), therefore the final color may differ from the one presented in the photo. Each scabbard is unique and the brown color may look different from one finish to the next and may turn darker over time. Scabbards are shipped randomly.
