Description
MAIN Knives Pocket Mushroom Knife 7000 420 Bubinga Wood it’s a handy blade for nature enthusiasts and lovers of the gifts of the forest.
The Mushroom Pocket Knife with a curved folding stainless steel blade and a brush on the back is an effective helper for mushroom picking. The short folding blade effectively cuts the mushroom from the forest floor, leaving the mycelium, which serves as food for future specimens, while the brush aids in the preliminary cleaning process of forest debris. Additionally, there is a ruler on the side of the handle to verify the size of the specimen. The knife is supplied with a Velcro-fastened sheath for attaching to a belt.
MAIN Knives – Traditional Pocket Blades
MAIN Knives is a manufacturer of high-quality traditional pocket knives. MAIN Knives‘ products are primarily the result of handcrafting, including the hand-polishing of handles and sharpening of blades. The stainless steel used in the blades, combined with other corrosion-resistant elements in the construction, along with handles made from woods such as beech, oak, walnut, bubinga, ebony, rosewood, olive wood, or compressed wood in black hues, provides users with a variety of options when it comes to selecting their preferred colors and materials.
MAIN Knives – Pocket Blade for Everyone
Stainless Steel Blade
The blade of the knife is crafted from 420 stainless steel. This type of steel maintains good cutting properties and is easy to sharpen. Additionally, it is stainless steel, making it easy to maintain. For example, knives made from this steel can be left in a car without worry, where, as we know, during various weather conditions and temperatures, stainless steel may “sweat,” causing moisture to settle. For knives made from rust-prone steel, this moisture can lead to corrosion.
Smooth Opening
The knife is opened using both hands by means of a nail nick in the blade. Folding is also done in the traditional two-handed manner.
Wood Handle
The knife features a handle made from exotic bubinga wood with a brown color and beautifully defined grains. The wood has undergone special treatment to prevent moisture absorption. During the handle preparation process, its final texture was achieved through manual polishing. Polishing removes any imperfections and ensures the handle is smooth to the touch. The steel ring surrounding the wooden construction serves as a connecting element between the wooden handle and the blade.
