Polish Knifemakers Coin 2023 | Custom Made. A unique commemorative coin referring directly to the community of talented craftsmen from Poland and fans of their work. Polish Knifemakers Coin 2023 is a small accessory with which you will occupy your hands during a nervous day at work and calm your mind (a reference to the “worry stone”). It is also a great gadget that will perfectly fit into the composition of everyday equipment (EDC – EveryDay Carry) and will be found in a trouser pocket or a waist bag. It is also an attractive element of the everyday set, which you will be happy to capture in a photo and present to other fans of EDC gadgets on thematic groups on the web and in social media.

The coin is made to individual order with delivery time of about 3 weeks. Each is individually lathinged from a piece of stainless steel by the knifemaker Sliwkosky Knives (Jakub Śliwka) and engraved according to the Polish Knifemakers design. This is a custom made, not mass production.

Back:

Presentation of the talents of Polish craftsmen. Naturally, only a fragment of their work was shown, the scope of which is much more extensive. The reverse features: a folding knife, a knife with a fixed blade, an axe, an EDC coin, and a pen.

Made by Sliwkosky Knives

Each coin is individually lathinged from a properly selected section of stainless steel. Graphics are applied to the fron and the back, and notch are made on the edges (subtle than jimping in knife) to complete the design and better grip of the gadget.

Its name is a reference to friendly flightless birds mainly inhabiting the cold seas of the southern hemisphere of the Earth. Indeed- the unfolded knife, when is is pointed upwards it resembles a penguin's beak and the handle the body of the bird. However, the name of the knife does not only refer to the appearance of the knife. On the contrary- it also enhances its functional features. The blade, when necessary, can be "feisty" and "of strong character" just like a penguin's beak, the handle will perfectly match the hand during work, just like the body of a small swimmer will fit into every hole.
