The Locust knife is a model belonging to the category of large folding knives from the QSP Knife premium line. It is made of top quality materials, among which special attention is drawn by Japanese VG-10 steel and cladding made of durable and stylish linen micarta.

Locust is a knife with a rather interesting and unusual style. It has a slender figure with a wharncliffe style head with a rather narrow engraving. It is a construction that will cope with many everyday tasks, help in precise cutting and also manage to handle large overloads during stinging, puncturing etc. , so opening and cutting for example cardboard boxes will be really easy. In addition, even with vigorous and less careful work we can feel safer thanks to the strong frame lock. Locust will also do well in the forest, where its straight cutting edge is perfect for for example whittling.

Description

The folding QSP Knife Locust is a large universal tool for everyday use EDC (Every Day Carry).

Premium steel – durable blade

The blade has a flat grind and was derived in the wharncliffe style. This design is ideal for cutting on flat surfaces due to the easy possibility of pressing a straight cutting edge to the material being cut. In addition, this type of blade enables easy handling and control of the engraving, which is very useful during cuts requiring precision. The back has jimping to facilitate applying pressure with your thumb while making cuts. The material used for the production of the cutting part is high-quality Japanese VG10 steel. Steel is characterised by corrosion resistance, it stays sharp for a long time and has high resistance to mechanical damage.

Smooth opening

The knife is opened due to the hole in the blade or  flipper protruding from the blade, which, when the blade is unfolded, serves as a hand guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the cutting edge and potential injuries. The knife is unfolded very freely and smoothly thanks to the steel ball bearing. The knife has a self-adjusting stable opening, which protects against uncontrolled closing during use (liner lock).

Durable handle

The handle itself is equipped with linings made of grey linen micarta with an skidproof and rough structure. Micarta is a popular material on the handle, which after styling gives the effects of naturalness. In addition, it has very good performance – it is resistant to moisture, temperature changes, most solvents and acids and therefore has a high resistance to mechanical damage.

Stable carrying

The knife was equipped with a titanium clip, enabling stable carrying in a pocket, fixing to the backpack, organizer etc. An  hole over the clip allows additional threading, paracord etc. Both the clip and the opening are elements that serve as protection against possible loss of the knife.

Warranty

 

QSP knives are covered by a limited warranty. This warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to both the knife and its sheath. If the product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items are covered by this warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over an extended period of time and use.

Maintenance

  1. Don’t use the edge to cut hard object such as stone, steel tube….
  2. Don’t use the knife as a lever.
  3. Please follow the local and international laws in using QSP knife.
  4. Please wipe it by soft cloth after used, and store in dry place.
  5. Please sharpen the knife properly with correct techniques.

Eagle from QSP Knife is a model that belongs to the karambit family of knives. This type of blade was created a long time ago in Malaysia and the Philippines and its shape was inspired by the claws of large predatory cats. Characteristic for its construction is the curved blade and an inverted handle with a hole for the index finger. Eagle from QSP Knife, referring to the Karambit tradition, was additionally associated with the silhouette of the eagle. In the end, the curved blade resembles either the bird's claw or a sharp beak with a watchful eye, which can be seen in the characteristic orange coating located around the mounting screw on the main line of the knife's axis. The image is complemented by the styling of the G10 composite grip lining, effectively imitating the predator's plumage. Eagle for the sake of construction may be suitable for tactical use and for the needs of uniformed services. It works well when cutting ropes, plastics, materials that are difficult to approach, but also it can be used in everyday life more universally. QSP Knife Copperhead (copper-headed) got its name by associating with the physiognomy of one of the species of snakes inhabiting North America. In the construction of the knife, after the opening it catches our attention the shape of the upper edge, which starting from the tip of the blade forms one line until the end of the handle.
