Sliwkosky Knives Puukko Full Tang “Karelian Blue” M390 Knife
€ 0.00 Gross, ( € 0.00 Net )
Sliwkosky Knives Puukko Full Tang “Karelian Blue” M390 knife was inspired by Finnish puukko knives. Knifemaker Jakub Śliwka referred to a design originating in Scandinavia, but made a full tang knife, thus strengthening the structure of the traditional puukko design (the puukko traditionally has a hidden tang structure). The result is a Scandinavian-type high-cut blade combined with a simple and comfortable handle. The whole thing is quite large (236 mm long) and the 120 mm handle fits well in the hand. The presented knife is intended for users who practice forest tourism, bushcraft passion, camp in nature, etc. It will not be afraid of preparing a meal, preparing wooden shavings or lighting a fire with flint with the use of a specially sharpened edge of the ridge.
Sliwkosky Knives Puukko Full Tang “Karelian Blue” M390 knife has a satin finish blade made of M390 steel, cladding of the handle made of stabilized wood with a very nice color (blue-dyed Karelian birch), liners made of green G10 composite and a black sheath made of natural leather with turquoise stitching.

About the standards at Sliwkosky Knives
Sliwkosky Knives makes knives of various styles. Regardless of their use, be it outdoor or kitchen, it produces knives according to its individual concept, design and material consistent with the intended purpose of each of them. In this way, products of very high quality and accuracy of workmanship are created. All work is done manually using machines adapted to his needs. Production stages, such as cutting the knife shape, hardening, grinding, sharpening, processing the material on the handle and holster, take place in his workshop. The final product is refined with its shape and color and is a solid tool for the future user.
Puukko Full Tang knife
Referring to the design of the puukko knife was conceived as a universal knife designed to perform various tasks in the bosom of nature. The size, shape of the blade and the design of the handle are derived from the well-known, refined in ancient times shapes straight from Finnish soil. When designing the knifemaker Jakub Sliwka focused on refreshing this model in his own way, but not losing the features of the knife developed over the years, which have been proven for years. The result is a knife with very useful features, but also eye-catching workmanship and design.
Premium M390 steel as the core of the knife construction
The knife is made of the high quality M390 steel. M390 is one of the few steels available on the market in the absolute top quality of materials used in the production of premium knives. The M390 blade is extremely resistant to overload, stays sharp for a long time (wears very slowly) and has excellent anti-corrosion properties.
A universal blade for any task
The blade with a spine thickness of 3,15 mm, made in the drop point style (puukko shape), with a high flat cut, ensures smooth cutting and performing various tasks (piercing, planing, preparing meals, etc.). We have a 115 mm blade at our disposal, the spine of which is deliberately finished more sharply, allowing for efficient work with the flint.
Robust ergonomic handle made of stabilized wood
The handles are made of stabilized wood (Karelian birch with blue as the dominant color). The handle uses green G10 liners.
Leather sheath
The knife is equipped with a black sheath made of natural leather. The dangler style scabbard has a belt clip for vertical mounting. The scabbard was sewn with a blue thread, consistent with the color of the knife handle.
