€ 425.27 Gross, ( € 345.75 Net )
TFK – Tanev Family Knives Beluga Knife | Elmax | Burlap Micarta is a large survival knife with a length of over 30 cm and a blade of 17 cm.
Beluga at first glance resembles a Buddy knife from the same manufacturer. However, during a closer inspection, we notice that the difference lies primarily in the dimensions. The Beluga is simply a bigger knife and “has a little more power reserve” than the Buddy. Beluga is a knife that is especially useful when performing heavier camp work. Clearing bushes, cleaning the area for the camp, cutting smaller trees, baring wood, etc. are the tasks for which the knife is dedicated.
Presented TFK – Tanev Family Knives Beluga Knife | Elmax | Burlap Micarta was made of European premium steel Elmax. The blade has a satin finish. The knife has a micarta handle and a brown leather sheath is used to carry it.

About the presented executions of Buddy knife
Premium steel as the core of the knife construction
The presented Beluga knife is made of Elmax premium steel. Elmax is one of the few steels available on the market in the absolute top quality of materials used in the production of premium knives. Knives made of it are extremely resistant to overload, stay sharp for a long time and have excellent anti-corrosion properties.
The knife is made of one piece of steel, i.e. it has the so-called full-tang construction, probably the most durable construction used in fixed blade knives.
Grind and shape of the blade
The blade with a spine with a thickness of 5.2 mm, made in the drop point style, with a flat grind, ensures smooth cutting and performing various tasks (piercing, planing, batoning preparing meals, etc.). We have a 170 mm blade at our disposal, the spine of which is deliberately sharpened, allowing for efficient work with the flint.
Ergonomic micarta handle
The handles are made of Micarta (Burlap Micarta), a material resistant to moisture, temperature changes, most solvents and acids, with high resistance to mechanical damage. Micarta, known for its excellent properties, also visual (it can be styled like a natural material), has a non-slip, rough structure. The covers to the handle were attached with hexagonal screws (hex type).
The handle has a delicate finger undercut that prevents the hand from slipping over the cutting edge, reducing the risk of injuries. There is a hole at the end of the handle, which is used to additionally secure the knife against loss (it can be tied with a rope, paracord, etc.). You can also attach a section of paracord with or without a bead, which can be used as an ornament or as an additional gripping element that makes it easier to remove the knife from the sheath.
Handmade leather sheath
The knife is carried by a completely handcrafted brown leather sheath. The sheath is made of high-quality vegetable-tanned leather. The stitches were made with thick threads with a massive stitch. The edges are nicely finished and smooth. The sheath has a large eyelet for attaching to a belt, and the knife itself is secured against falling out by a belt loop with a massive latch.
