Petrified Fish Magazine PF-P02CS Folding Knife is an everyday knife from the category of larger folding knives.

Magazine is a knife dedicated to people who prefer to use tools with a more specific structure, more solid and more durable. It is a knife with a total length of 219 mm and a blade almost 4 mm thick, with thick covers and equally solid steel liners. For this reason, it is dedicated not only to classic everyday use, but also recommended as a supporting tool during outdoor trips.

Petrified Fish Magazine PF-P02CS Folding Knife has an efficient drop point blade made of D2 steel, known for its cutting efficiency and easy to sharpen and maintain. The handle of the knife is made of  G10/ Carbone Fiber composite. The knife is opened due to the protruding flipper and the blade is blocked by a liner lock.

Maintenance

  1. Remember! Every of our knives are extremely sharp, so be careful when handling them!
  2. Do not use your knife for something besides it’s intended purpose! Do not use the knife as a can opener, screwdriver, chisel, hammer, crowbar etc.
  3. After using your knife with sea water, blood, fruits or other corrosive mediums, always rinse the knife with fresh water and dry it off.
  4. Do not wash the knife with harder chemicals or in the dishwasher. This may damage or destroy the knife.
  5. Before storing your knife, apply thin film of high-quality gun oil or special knife oil or wax to knives. We recommend that you always keep your knife and sheath clean and dry when not in use.
  6. Always keep your knife sharp, so it can always take care of you.

The model, along with its larger counterpart - This Is Freedom Natural, belongs to the "Tales of Man" series (more about the series HERE) created to commemorate the extraordinary figures of bygone eras. In the presented version, Classic Freedom was made with a high flat grind and has jimping on the blade spine. The version with full flat grind with no jimping can be found HERE. The name Neckmuk also refers directly to the shape of the blade modeled in the knives used by one of the more famous nineteenth-century American promoters of life in the bosom of nature George „Nessmuk” Sears’s. South Pole Kapuga Edition is a unique implementation with a handle made of durable G10 composite formed with delicate roughness for a stable grip, available only in the Kapuga.pl distribution. The design differs from the standard version with a micarta handle, the color of the facings in deep black, subtly contrasting with the satin finish of the steel. The set containing a kydex holster or an optional leather sheath (available HERE) is a great composition also for those for whom black is their favorite color. The weight of the knife, due to the G10 cladding, is slightly higher, which makes it even better to "feel" it in your hand. All made in the spirit of Roald Amundsen, known for his practical approach to life and the organization of his exploratory expeditions. In summary, the South Pole is the perfect utility knife designed to deal with every possible natural challenge. The South Pole model is also available with micarta handle - in black (the basic version of the South Pole available HERE) or brown (South Pole Natural is available HERE). ATTENTION! The presented version with G10 screws securing the cladding to the handle is discontinued. It was replaced by the new South Pole Kapuga Edition with steel through-tubes attaching the covers to the handle.
