QSP Knife Penguin QS130-L Copper folding knife is a project that refers to its name to friendly flightless birds living mainly in the cold seas of the southern hemisphere of the Earth. Indeed – the unfolded knife, when the blade points it upwards, resembles a penguin’s beak and the handle resembles the body of this bird … The name of the knife, however, does not only refer to the appearance of the knife. On the contrary – it also enhances its functional features. The blade, when needed, can be “character” and “pugnacious” like a penguin’s beak, the handle will fit perfectly in the hand while working, just like the body of a small swimmer will fit into any ice hole.
Small, handy and clever, but it will stand up to any challenge, just like a little penguin can cope with the endless seas and oceans …
Presented QSP Knife Penguin QS130-L Copper folding knife has a high performance burnished black stonewash finished sheepsfoot blade made of D2 tool steel and copper covers. The blade against opening is secured by a liner lock, and the knife is opened due to a double-sided pin protruding from the blade.

Description
QSP Knife Penguin QS130-L Copper folding knife is a medium size knife for everyday use.
Functional blade – solid steel
The blade comes out with an even slimline cut, which is characterised by smoothness of cutting and versatility of use. The sheeps foot style ensures maximum use of the most advanced point of the cutting edge, which in turn enables making precise cuts. The ridging on the back (jimping), allows one to easily apply extra pressure with ones thumb on the cutting edge to the material. The D2 tool steel blade ensures efficient cutting and has a high abrasion resistance.
The blade finish is black (burnished), then stonewashed.
Smooth opening
The knife is opened with a double-sided pin (for right- and left-handed people). Smooth opening of the knife is ensured by copper washers enveloping on the line of the main axis of the knife (bearing at the point of connection of the blade with the handle). The knife has stable and durable protection against accidental closing when in use (liner lock).
Comfortable handle
The handle is lined with a durable copper in stonewash style. The handle has been profiled in a way that limits the risk of sliding your hand on the blade when it is in use, which reduces the risk of potential injuries.
Safe carrying
A steel clip with the possibility of assembly on one or the other side of the handle ensures safe carrying in a pocket, attaching to a backpack , saddlebag etc. The hole above the clip has been designed to be used for attaching with a cord, string, paracord, strap, leash etc. This is a simple solution that makes it easier to remove your knife from your pocket, hang it around your neck etc. Of course, this is an additional precaution against losing the knife when the knife is carried or in use.
