For ANV Knives, the Z050 slipjoint folding knife is a kind of look back at the time when the pocket knife had pocket dimensions. The blade, which we made out of N690 steel, will serve well in everyday activities, and the handle equipped with a double detent slip joint mechanism will allow the Z050 to be worn even where the classic lock is already prohibited. Everything is completed by a deep carry reversible clip, thanks to which right-handers and left-handers can wear the “fifty” comfortably. For the very first time, we have also prepared three different colors of the aluminum handle for you. Discreet matte black, professionally elegant silver and sophisticated bold red. Frontier is a knife bordering on reality and imagination. On the one hand, it is a tangible, great utility tool that can be sharpened on a roadside stone if needed. On the other hand, it is a talisman that will take us into the world of imagination, childhood memories filled with playing trappers and adventurers. And it is really hard to resist the impression that Frontier was "brought alive" from the border, where just a moment ago he was helping his owner in the hardships of survival.
Frontier knives are made of steel that can be easily sharpened in the field (NCV1), which goes back to the past of cutlery and the art of using knives. The blades have a variety of fancy finishes and patterns. Each of them is unique and one of a kind. In the knifemaker's dictionary, this type of finish is referred to as "chaotic satin coated with random oxidation". These treatments and amphibian roughness are performed in an original way by a knifemaker. The handles are mainly made of deer antlers dyed by the creator and have a leather wrapping prepared by a knifemeker in a way that guarantees resistance to weather conditions. Sheaths made of natural vegetable tanned leather (cowhide and deer chamois) have a variety of colors and accessories individually selected for each project by the creator. The Frontier is a knife that appears to have many irregularities at first glance, but is in fact planned in every unevenness and roughness from start to finish by the creator.

Locking the blade is a frame lock with a steel insert and additional ROTOBLOCK protection and convenient carrying of the knife is possible thank to an innovative, retractable clip (H.WAYL).

The blade made of durable Vandis 4 Extra steel with excellent hardness (63 HRC), has been coated with a black, much thicker than in other MK Knives & Tools models (you can find them HERE), PVD coating. The innovative construction of the handle combines the advantages of full tang and hidden tang construction. The wide shank of the knife runs along the entire length of the handle (as in the full tang), but it has been enclosed with G10 composite covers screwed on it (as in the hidden tang). This construction gives us the same durability as in the classic full tang, but it is more pleasant for a hand working in the cold without a glove, as in the case of hidden tang knives. Nessy is a rather loose reference to the shape, because its dimensions are more similar to the size of a machete, etc. The intention of the contractor (knifemaker Jakub Sliwka) in this particular case was to obtain a very durable knife, which can certainly be used as a survival knife and will handle most of the demanding tasks that we can meet in the forest or more demanding terrain. To achieve the desired effect, the knife uses Sleipner steel, known for its resistance to chipping and overload resistance. The size of the whole is 335 mm, with the shape of the blade itself and the profiling of the handle in a way that prevents the knife from slipping out of the hand of the whole, it even encourages you to work such as: clearing the area for the camp, baring wood, cutting trees, branches, etc.
