Knifemaker Jakub Śliwka referred to a design originating in Scandinavia, but made a full tang knife, thus strengthening the structure of the traditional puukko design (the puukko traditionally has a hidden tang structure). The result is a Scandinavian-type high-cut blade combined with a simple and comfortable handle. The whole thing is quite large (236 mm long) and the 120 mm handle fits well in the hand. TRC Knives Classic Freedom FFG knife was created in the studio of the Lithuanian knifemaker Andrius Tricius (TRC Knives), inspired by the figure of a great enthusiast of fishing and communing with nature, the famous writer Ernest Hemingway. The model, along with its larger counterpart - This Is Freedom, belongs to the "Tales of Man" series (more about the series HERE) created to commemorate the extraordinary figures of bygone eras. In the presented version, Classic Freedom was made with a full flat grind with no jimping on the blade spine (FFG - Full Flat Grind). TRC Knives TR-12s M390 Knife Orange (New from 2016)
TRC Knives TR-12s knife made in the workshop of Lithuanian knifemaker Andrius Tricius. The size of the knife directs it to everyday use, and the design allows it to be carried at the belt or around the neck as a neck knife.
The presented model was made in 2016 (!) and is certainly a rarity. It is a specimen made of M390 steel, with handle covers made of orange G10 composite with stainless steel bolts. The set includes a Kydex holster attached to the belt with a specially designed buckle.
